Physiotherapy and osteopathy
Joint Care has a dedicated physical therapy team.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is a science-based therapy for patients affected by injury, illness, and disability. We can help people of all ages. We commonly treat sporting-related injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation and any pains relating to the joints and soft tissues, including the neck and back. All of our treatments are tailored to the needs of our patients and include manual therapy, exercise, taping, acupuncture, correction of movement patterns, sport-specific rehabilitation, education, and advice.
Osteopathy and cranial osteopathy
Osteopathy treats not only acute injuries but also longer-term and recurrent musculoskeletal problems. These include back pain, neck pain, joint pain, and headaches. Our assessment looks holistically at the patient and addresses any imbalances with hands-on treatment, exercises, and advice. The hands-on therapy includes massage, stretching, joint manipulation and acupuncture. Cranial osteopathy is a type of osteopathy. It uses very gentle manipulative pressure to encourage the release of stresses throughout the body and is used alongside other interventions to treat various conditions in people of all ages.
You can book directly to see one of our physiotherapists or osteopaths. If you have medical insurance, please inform your insurer before making an appointment, and you may be required to see a doctor first.
