Dr Katie Platts

BMBS MRCGP

Dr Katie Platts graduated from Brighton and Sussex Medical School in 2011 and qualified in General Practice in 2016. She worked as a GP principal in Eastbourne for 6 years where she developed a particular interest in elderly care and palliative medicine. She has additional training to supervise and teach junior doctors and hopes to expand on her passion for education whilst working on the island.

Dr Platts has recently moved back to Guernsey, having grown up here. She is enjoying getting back into the swing of sea-swimming and island-hopping with her little dog, Bruce. Dr Platts also enjoys reading, singing, and cooking.
