Dr Laura Bell

Born and brought up in Guernsey, Dr Laura Bell graduated from the University of Leicester in 2008. Having completed postgraduate training in Oxford and the East Midlands she then chose to return to the island with her young family and completed a summer locum at Cobo Surgery in 2014 before working at IslandHealth until this summer.

Dr Bell has completed the Diploma in the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare and is able to provide all forms of reversible contraception, including fitting coils and implants, within the practice, as well as offering her services at Choices family planning clinic.

As a trainee she developed an interest in child health and ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat), she performs micro-suction ear cleaning and enjoys doing baby checks. As a Greener Practice lead Dr. Bell is passionate about promoting environmentally conscious healthcare and inspiring others to adopt more sustainable practices.

Dr. Bell loves spending time outdoors. You might spot her leading local Scout activities or enjoying Guernsey’s beautiful scenery with her husband and three children, riding their bikes or relaxing at the beach.
